Welcome to my website, I am a qualified complementary therapist trained in Bowen Therapy, Equine Bowen Therapy, the Emmett Technique, Holistic Massage and Hopi Ear Candling.

In 1997 after gaining a BA Hons degree in Equine Studies at Warwickshire Agricultural College I began working in Project Co-ordination and used this skill over the next eleven years to work for three large corporate companies. However, I always wanted to work with people and horses and escape the office environment. During this time I trained in my spare time with ITEC in Anatomy, Physiology and Holistic Massage.

In 2004 I was recommended Bowen Therapy due to suffering with whiplash after a car accident. I consequently suffered with continual headaches and neck pain and had tried various treatments for over two years which had helped alleviate the pain temporarily but were not achieving long lasting relief.

I was intrigued during my first treatment as the therapy was very different. The treatment was gentle and relaxing and during the treatment on several occassions the therapist left the room. The therapist advised these 'breaks' were allowing my body to start making subtle changes initiated by the Bowen moves. The treatment was so gentle, I went away with little hope of success. However, to my surprise after just one treatment my neck pain and headaches completely disappeared. I was amazed by the results of such a subtle, painless therapy.

After my experience of Bowen I was determined to train in this wonderful therapy. In 2005 I qualified in Bowen Therapy with the European College of Bowen Studies (ECBS) and in 2007 I qualified in Equine Bowen Therapy with The European School of Equine Bowen Therapy. Due to my passion for learning, understanding and being able to offer clients the very best treatment possible I continued my Bowen Therapy training and qualified as a Neurostructural Integration Technique therapist in 2009 (an advanced form of Bowen) and in 2011 I qualified as an Emmett Technique therapist which has further enhanced my body therapy skills. The Emmett Technique is a very subtle, gentle but powerful therapy which blends extremely well with Bowen therapy.
